As one of the top luxury cruise lines
, Crystal Cruises is always looking to enhance upon their already diverse and enriching on-board entertainment. And just like that, out of thin air, comes a new industry-first program called “Magic Castle at Sea.” Master Magician Rich Bloch, along with several other skilled magicians from the famous private magicians’ club in Hollywood, the Magic Castle, will be putting on one-of-a-kind shows that will stun and surprise.
Guests traveling on the Crystal Symphony
cruise that departed on July 23, the August 6 Crystal Serenity
voyage and all 2013 cruises will have access to the mysterious experience. Along with other offerings like adult magic lessons, educational seminars, and shows for kids, attendees will also be allowed one-time entry into the Magic Castle
in Los Angeles.
"Considering club guests can only gain entrance if they're in LA and invited by a member, Crystal's Magic Castle at Sea provides rare access to a truly spellbinding entertainment experience," says Crystal's Vice President of Entertainment, Bret Bullock. "We're thrilled to offer our guests yet another unique choice in high-caliber vacation fun."
The on-board magic shows are “invitation only” and the complimentary tickets must be obtained in advance from the ships’ libraries. When guests come to their pre-selected half-hour show time, they go through a special entrance into a completely altered lounge area decorated to replicate a Victorian Castle with music, murals, flameless candles, mood lighting and old magic movies playing. Only 25 people at a time can take in the mystifying sleight of hand moves of the magicians, making for a very exciting and intimate experience.
When back on dry land, attendees can call the number on the back of their stub to reserve a time to visit the real Magic Castle and present their ticket at the door. The luxury cruise line is booking 7- to 12-day Magic Castle at Sea excursions starting at $3,065 per person. To find out more, call 888-799-4625, or go to CrystalCruises.com
