Heading to a port near you, come June 2013, is Princess Cruise Line's newest luxury cruise ship Royal Princess. It will be offering up to 3,600 passengers exciting amenities including an expanded atrium with entertainment and casual dining venues; a first-ever enclosed, glass floor walkway from the top deck to portside bar; adults-only upper deck pool with private cabanas; the largest top deck pool offered on a cruise ship; a nighttime water and light show; upgraded Movies Under the Stars screen; and balconies off all outside staterooms. The elegant style that the Princess Cruise Line brand is known for will be reflected throughout each of the ship?s new elements.

The contemporary staterooms range in size from Interior rooms with two twin beds, to Mini-Suites with separate sitting area and two flat screen TVs, to the Suites With Balcony offering access to the Concierge Lounge, mattress options and complimentary laundry service. And getting into these rooms just got greener with the ship?s eco-friendly key card system, allowing guests to conserve energy when not inside by controlling light usage. lltitle=Coolest New Amenities on Princess Cruise Lines ### llcontent= Debuting in June 2013 is Princess Cruise Line's newest luxury ship, Royal Princess, offering many industry first to its 3,600 passengers including an expanded atrium with entertainment and casual dining venues; a first-ever enclosed, glass floor walkway from the top deck to portside bar; adults-only upper deck pool with private cabanas; the largest top deck pool offered on a cruise ship; a nighttime water and light show; upgraded Movies Under the Stars screen; and balconies off all outside staterooms.
The many dining venues let guests choose from quick casual cuisine, specialty menus featuring Italian, steak and seafood, anytime options in the two forward dining rooms, or a more intimate experience at the Chef’s Table Lumiere with the same group, at the same time, served by the same waiter each night. Whether you’re a traditional sit-down diner or need freshly prepared meals on-the-go, the Royal Princess is serving up a variety to suit all on board.
Entertainment is an important part of the cruise experience and Royal Princess is preparing to thrill guests with even more firsts. Princess Live!, the ship’s TV studio broadcasting events, live concerts, game shows, and interactive cooking programs, is one such first in the industry. The expansive Princess Theater, the largest to date, is a great place to take in a movie or signature show in a cozy, yet sophisticated setting; or opt to grab a cocktail while watching a comedy act, cabaret performance or dueling pianos.
