P&O Cruises’ Pacific Aria and Eden will debut this November with fresh, luxury upgrades. The new ships, which will be unveiled at the Sydney Harbour, will include new restaurants and bars, updated rooms and penthouse suites with private balconies, large spa baths, walk-in closets and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Among the new restaurant offerings are The Blue Room, Ocean Bar, The Dragon Lady restaurant and a private dining venue. The Blue Room will be an intimate speakeasy-esque space dressed in chrome and velvet décor. It will also feature live Jazz, R&B and Blues. Ocean Bar will be decorated in shades of green with chaise lounges and a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. For those looking for a little added exclusivity, the Chef’s Table private dining room will offer guests an exquisite experience through a degustation menu.

When it comes to adult-fun, the Oasis area for those over 18 will feature private day beds with sheer curtains and hanging chairs that sit poolside. Meant to mimic a resort ambiance, the Lido pool will offer high-end furnishings and a retractable roof.

The 1,500-passenger ships are also expected to sail year-round from Australia and New Zealand. P&O is already accepting reservations for both ships with rates starting at USD $1,344 per person (twin rooms).
