Fountain Lounge Coming This Fall To The Roosevelt New Orleans

As a way to continually evolve and celebrate its rich history, The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is opening up Fountain Lounge. The raw bar will be a place for both guests and locals to enjoy live music, cocktails and small plates in a modern-meets-old-world atmosphere. Located next to the Sazerac Bar, the raw bar is returning to its roots with the original name it was given when it first opened in 1938. The Fountain Lounge will serve up super premium wines by the glass, small plates and a very extensive raw bar with oysters and shellfish from the Gulf Coast and tastes from around the world. Accompanied by live music, delectable dishes include modern twists on regional cuisine such as Crispy Oysters with Cajun Vichyssoises and Duck Crackling to Pecan Ale Glazed Pork Belly. Surrounded by luxury furnishings and fixtures, guests can choose from a variety of updated cocktails or original Fountain Lounge favorites like the Bayou Swizzle.
