Luxe Travel Guide: Australia

Travel to Australia: Although Australia is a vast island of geographical diversity, it also is home to a wide variety of luxury destinations.

Sydney Australia is found on the eastern edge of the Australian island and encompasses not only a cosmopolitan city, but also a series of outlying areas and outback as well as beautiful beaches. Because of its close proximity to nature and the great outdoors, Sydney is a casual city, although it offers all the conveniences of a metropolis as well. You will also find Sydney Australia to be a cultural bastion, as it offers fine dining, excellent hotels, a large artistic community, as well as the famous architecturally magnificent opera house, located right on the bay.

Check out the many beaches in the Sydney area, each with their own personality, like Bondi, which is great for people watching or Tamarama, the hip beach in the area.

There is a great variety of activity to be had for the whole family and people of all walks of life, both indoors and out. Sydney has a series of harbors, connected to a series of beaches, so you can boat, surf, water-ski, as much as you like. Sydney is also close to a mountain range, so you can ski during their winter, or just hike through the outback. You should also pay a visit to either the zoo or botanical garden, to see some of the local wildlife. If you want to stay out of the sun, check out the famous Sydney Opera House, which offers tours of its architectural wonder, in addition to concerts. And don't miss out on exploring the local art scene featured in Sydney Australia's many galleries.

Finish up the day with dinner at some of Sydney Australia's spectacular restaurants and bars, many which overlook the harbor and offer unparalleled views of the sunset. And nod off at your choice of fine hotels that pepper Sydney Australia.

In Victoria, take advantage of the Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex. In addition to the casino, you will also find several nightclubs and two hotels at the center. The largest casino in Australia offers all the traditional games along with penny and up slot machines. For your convenience on your Australia casino vacation, the Crown Casino in Melbourne is open year round, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, except for major holidays, when it closes for the morning.

The Great Barrier Reef is just as beautiful and diverse above water as it is below, with white sand beaches and luxurious resorts, and surrounded by nearby rainforests. Stay at a variety of hotels and resorts that are environmentally friendly, still while indulging in luxury.

No matter where you choose to spend your time in the Land Down Under, you are sure to find a luxury adventure.
