The Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina is home to the annual Wells Fargo Championship on the US PGA Tour and holds a purse of US $6.5 million. The reigning champion is Sean O'Hair.

The Wells Fargo Championship moved to Washington DC in 1979, but returned to North Carolina in 2003. David Toms was the winner that year, despite a quadruple-bogey eight on the final hole.
