Morgan's in the desert is introducing a major innovation to the wine dinner experience, created and led by James Beard multi-award-winning Executive Chef, Jimmy Schmidt and Morgans' Chef de Cuisine, Brian Recor.
The first of the new Morgan's Wine Experiences will take place on January 18, 2013 and will feature guest participation by Janet Trefethen of Trefethen Family Vineyards, one of Napa's classic wine estates. The transformative evening will begin with a tasting and blending session with the winemaker, to be presented on Morgan's torch-lit patio and to feature a presentation of the blending technique for the label's lively Dragon's Tooth Red.
From there, diners will proceed to Morgan?s kitchen, as Janet Trefethen and Chefs Schmidt and Recor work together with participants to create the actual food pairings for the evening's dinner. Participation is limited to 24 guests for this intimate hands-on food and wine adventure. |
