Last Remaining Seats celebrates old Hollywood and Los Angeles' beautiful downtown area. Held every Wednesday evening from late May to June, the event screens classic films in many of the city's stunning old theatres and includes live entertainment. Organised by Los Angeles Conservancy, the event was first held in 1987 to help draw attention to neglected historic theatres. Participating venues include Orpheum Theatre, the Los Angeles Theatre and Million Dollar Theatre.
