SD Animal Support Foundation This Valentine’s Day don’t fall for the cliché of having a regular valentine in San Diego. Think outside of the box and adopt a pet as your new and improved valentine. After all they say that a Dog is a mans best friend. There are plenty of options that i am sure you won’t regret.
Valentine, a sweet little Shepherd/Terrier boy, and his 3-month-old sister, Sweetheart, are available for adoption from Animal Rescuers Without Borders (ARWOB) who say they're your typical happy, playful, rambunctious puppies.
They're estimated to weigh 30-40 pounds when fully grown, and they have three other siblings waiting at home for adoption too! All five were abandoned in a box in an alley, and none of the shelters would take them because they were too full. Since they're being fostered with both dogs and cats, they'll be well socialized by the time they're adopted.
You can meet all the pups, along with 70 other dogs and puppies at this Sunday's Cupids & Canines Adoption Event at the Midway Towne Center on W. Point Loma Blvd. from 11am to 3pm. Bring your Valentine and pick out a dog together! Or if you don't have a Valentine, come meet the four-legged love of your life this Sunday, February 17th.
