Having come all the way from playing at a 400 max-occupancy concert just 14 months ago, the quartet has made waves as their meteoric rise to fame continues. Their March 15th performance is not only expected to rock the house, but expose even more potential fans to their rhythmic genius.
Rock-soul quartet the Alabama Shakes, among the breakout success stories of 2012, is coming to New Orleans for a show at the Sugar Mill on March 15, 2013. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. via hepcatentertainment.com
Michael Kiwanuka and Sam Doores & Riley Downing open the show, which is open to those 18 and older. General admission tickets are $25 in advance (limit of four per order), $30 day of show. VIP tickets that include a reserved viewing area, open bar, soul food buffet and commemorative poster, are $100.
