American Airlines Makes Milan More Accessible

Posted: Jun. 4th, 2013  |  By Michael Pearse

Soon it will be easy to get to Milan from Miami. Starting in November, American Airlines will be deploying non-stop flights from Miami, Florida to Milan, Italy. This is just the beginning, however, as American Airlines has promised that over 125 more European destinations are going to become available in the months to come.

South Florida residents will have more options for direct air service to Europe starting this fall.

American Airlines on Thursday announced it will launch daily nonstop service between Miami and Milan starting Nov. 21. Travelers can start booking flights on Sunday.

Flights will leave Milan’s Malpensa Airport at 11:25 a.m. local time and arrive in Miami at 4:40 p.m. Italy-bound flights leave Miami at 5:55 p.m. eastern time and arrive in Milan at 9:35 a.m. the next day.
