In a Facebook post from roughly 5 p.m. Monday (Oct. 1), the Queen of Crescent City occult literature wrote that she was pining for some of the old French Quarter soil. In the brief note, the author of the 1976 mega-hit “Interview with the Vampire” offered to trade a north Florida beach condo for a “foot on the ground” in the Vieux Carre.
