 Photo Courtesy ArtFest of Scottsdale Featuring 95 artists from around the nation, this year's ArtFest of Scottsdale is going to be far bigger and better than previous renditions. With the economy being better off this year as well, artists can expect to see more paying customers and hopefully move out of the realm of the starving artist.
This weekend’s ArtFest of Fifth Avenue in downtown Scottsdale will feature nearly twice the number of artists and will be twice the size of last year’s festival.
ArtFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday along Fifth Avenue from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard. Admission and parking are free.
Valley event planner Frank Maguire is hoping for cooler temperatures this weekend compared to a year ago, when temperatures reached 100 degrees and kept many patrons away.
