 Boston Herald Our society has become one that is very focused on food and taste. Boston has three restaurants on the Daily Meal's list of 101 Best American restaurants. Although the restaurants are pretty high up in the ranking, it is still an honor to have not one but three restaurants receiving such great praise.
We love the creativity and inspiration of the Boston food scene. But the national food community is not quite so impressed – at least if The Daily Meal’s list of 101 best American restaurants is any indication.
Just three Boston restaurants make the cut, and the top one, O-Ya, chimes in at a mere No. 62. Ken Oringer's Clio was right behind at No. 63. Tony Maws' Craigie on Main in Cambridge closes out the Boston-area entries at No. 66.
