Hopefuls for the relationship were quick to point out that, since the concert, the two seem to have returned to friendlier terms.
Justin Bieber performed one of pop music's most iconic breakup songs at his Boston concert Saturday, according to People today. Only one day after the magazine confirmed the news that Selena Gomez had ended their relationship, Justin Bieber played an acoustic version of Justin Timberlake's hit, "Cry Me A River", a song with lyrics describing how it feels when someone finds out their partner has been cheating. It was unclear whether Bieber chose the song as a direct reference to Selena Gomez, 20, as he has played the song in the past. Justin still dodged any references about the status of his relationship with the Disney star.
