 Diamante Cabo San Lucas The Seminole Golf Club has won the title of World Club Champion after defeating St. George's G&CC this Saturday in Cabo San Lucas at Diamante. David Abell and Kelly Miller will defend their title next year in the South Bridges GC in South Korea.
David Abell, agent for Hall of Famer Nick Price, and Kelly Miller teamed up to earn Seminole Golf Club the title of World Club Champion over the weekend, defeating Canada’s St. George’s G&CC in Saturday’s final at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Miller holed out an 80-yard wedge for eagle at the par-5 17th hole at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, then rolled home a 15-foot birdie on the final hole to close out a 2-up triumph in the best-ball competition.
The WCC features the club champions of 16 world-class clubs from around the globe, teaming with a partner of their choice. Miller previously had won the title in 2006 while representing the prestigious Pine Valley CC in New Jersey.
