 Magnificent Mile Chicago has leaped right into the swing of the holiday season with its celebration of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, a combination of events celebrating the opening of the holiday season and featuring a host of sponsors including dozens of big named Disney personalities like Olivia Holt and Shane Harper. Disney's parade was praised as the highlight of the day.
The BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival signals the start of the Chicago holiday season. More than one million people converged on the Magnificent Mile to enjoy the festivities. North Michigan Avenue was the setting for family fun, concerts and of course the parade.
Festival Lane, located in Pioneer Court, featured booths from the John Hancock Conservatory, Garrett Popcorn Shops, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company, BMO Harris Bank and more. Radio Disney AM1300 Chicago hosted a concert featuring Olivia Holt, star of Disney XD’s “Kickin’ it” and Shane Harper, star of Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-nominated “Good Luck Charlie.”
