One of three new Starbucks location is already opening at the City Center on March 8 and the other two are already under construction to open later this year.
The first of three new Starbucks set for CityCenter is expected to open within the next two weeks.
The location on the Strip near Mandarin Oriental, next to the Pinkberry frozen yogurt shop, had a sign on the door this morning saying it will open March 8. The menu, which is already up, features Starbucks Reserve and other specialty brand coffees, including the Organic Ethiopian Sidamo, the Komodo Dragon Blend and the Reserve Galapagos.
Construction, meanwhile, is continuing on the two other locations.
One at the former Pods by Wolfgang Puck coffee spot inside Crystals has a planned summer opening, officials at the upscale shopping center said. So far, the construction has retained large basket-inspired structures that make it a unique people-watching spot.
