Proposals have been submitted and Philadelphia officials are determining which of them would be best for the city. Considering Philadelphia only has one other casino at this time, whomever submitted the winning proposal should relish in their victory and look forward to some significant profit margins.
A Philadelphia official has told the state gaming board that the city is still evaluating the six proposals for a second casino in Philadelphia and hasnít decided yet which one it likes best.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is holding hearings on Thursday and Friday on applications for the second Philadelphia casino license.
Deputy Mayor Alan Greenberger says the city has hired a consulting firm to help evaluate the proposals and assess their economic impact and how they would spur growth.
