David Beckham has yet to debut with Paris Saint-Germain has the coach believe that he is not match fit quite yet. He feels that after one more week of training the 37 year-old Englishmen will be ready to compete. He also said that he has not decided weather he will start or not.
David Beckham, the former Galaxy star who is now playing in France, will not make his debut on Sunday for Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG Coach Carlo Ancelotti said the 37-year-old midfielder is not in game shape and likely will make his debut against French rival Marseille next week when the clubs play Feb. 24 in league play or Feb. 27 in a French Cup match.
“I think he can play easily against Marseille after one week more training, no problem,” Ancelotti said. “I will make the decision whether he starts or not.
