The last track has been lain and soon Orlando visitors will be in for the ride of a lifetime when Disney World finally opens the much anticipated new coaster. Don't tell the kids just yet, though, there's still plenty of time before the ride, and New Fantasyland in general, are available to the public.
Walt Disney World’s blog shared a special moment in the construction of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster being built at Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland.
The Disney Parks Blog posted a picture of the final piece being laid on the ride, which is expected to open next year.
The ride is the crescendo on the massive New Fantasyland expansion that brought several new attractions and interactive experiences like Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid and the Be Our Guest restaurant.
