 BMA Architectural Group With a traditional New England look, the Hilton Garden Inn set for construction in East Boston should be an attractive addition to the area. It will be interesting to see how the other hotels planned for Boston pan out, especially with millions of dollars being put towards their creation.
First Bristol’s plans to build a $32 million Hilton Garden Inn and retail plaza in East Boston is moving ahead and the developer has released a rendering of the project.
The 177-room to be built on six acres of former industrial property along Route 1A will be located near Logan International Airport and the Orient Heights neighborhood. It will also include a pair of buildings for retail use. The development team, which includes Rhode Island-based Marshall Properties, have also agreed to build an access road from 1A to help alleviate traffic concerns along Boardman Street.
