Jungle Island is a fun and refreshing zoo for all ages where guests can spend the day learning, playing and see wildlife in a welcoming and safe environment. Also home to multiple events throughout the year, Jungle Island has an experienced and knowledgeable staff that is sure to gladly educate, entertain and provide one of the friendliest happenings in Miami. Originally named Parrot Jungle Island, this zoological location has brought in many types of wildlife throughout its 75 years of being open and has since removed “Parrot” from the title to more appropriately fit the park.
During the summer, Jungle Island also offers science and animal camps that allow children to stay at the site and participate in fun science experiments, safaris and have the opportunity to meet some of the animals up-close-and-personal. Camps are available for around 11 days at a time between June 11th and August 17th this year and space is limited, so if you are interested, make reservations as soon as possible.
