If a new night club experience in Atlantic City sounds like fun, head to Haven, the new underground club at the Golden Nugget Casino. With capacity for 700, 2 full bars and a lounge with fire pits secluded outside from the roar of the beat, there will be no shortage of party going on. And the state of the art dance floor, sound and visual systems are a perfect venue for acts like Ke$ha, who rocked the house over Memorial Day weekend.
For most guests of Golden Nugget over Memorial Day weekend, the first thing to strike the eye when driving onto the property was probably owner Tilman Fertitta’s 164-foot tri-deck superyacht Boardwalk parked at Farley State Marina.
That’s a tough spectacle to top, but Fertitta was on site, along with hundreds of primarily young-adult revelers hungry to savor the latest in cutting-edge nightlife options, for Golden Nugget’s unveiling of Haven — a stunning underground nightclub that’s being billed as the finishing touch on a dramatic, two-year property-wide overhaul.
Fertitta, CEO of the Houston-based Landry’s Restaurants, purchased the former Trump Marina in May 2011 and re-branded it Golden Nugget, his third casino-hotel under that brand.
