Movie buffs rejoice, the time has come again for the 2013 Las Vegas Film Festival and this years lineup promises a dramatic and cinematographic smörgåsbord of the finest independent films the community has to offer. Once more set to kick off at the LVH and due to arrive in town on July 18th, the three day event will be one of the hottest things to do in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Film Festival will return to LVH this summer for its sixth annual installment running July 18-21. This year’s festival will showcase new works in features, documentaries and shorts from around the world.
Nevada student filmmakers also will have the opportunity to screen their work at College Screenings Showcase on the festival’s opening day. The work of other Nevada filmmakers will be screened at an afternoon showcase July 21.
The festival’s film highlights include:
“Sanitarium” — a twisted psychological thriller starring Robert Englund (“Nightmare on Elm Street”), Lacey Chabert (“Mean Girls”) and Malcolm McDowell (“A Clockwork Orange”).
