 With 3-15 times the speed of the current 3G technology in use for the Cricket Wireless network in Las Vegas, the addition of 4G LTE to the carrier in the large Nevada city.
Leap Wireless today turned on its 4G LTE network for Cricket customers in Las Vegas.
The launch makes Sin City the second market in which Cricket 4G LTE is available; it first rolled out in Tucson, Ariz. in Dec. 2011.
"The introduction of Cricket 4G LTE in Las Vegas is another milestone in our transition to LTE as we continue to offer our customers high-quality products and services with the latest technology and the value they've come to expect," Leap CEO Doug Hutcheson said in a statement.
