Recent birthday boy Lil Wayne decided to donate a Skate Park to his home town of New Orleans. This noble act was done because he felt that kids needed something to do as park was donated to one of the most devastated areas of New Orleans: the Lower Ninth Ward. This generosity will hopefully help kids who feel lost or alone.
In lieu of receiving lavish gifts for his 3oth birthday, rapper Lil Wayne gave a huge gift to the city of New Orleans. Weezy opened the Trukstop Skatepark in the Lower Ninth Ward of the Crescent City.
Wayne decided to open up the skatepark in the Lower Ninth Ward because it is the most devastated area in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. Once the ribbon cutting ceremony was finished, Weezy hopped on his skateboard and gave a demo as to how to skate in the facility.
