Coming in as a close second, London failed to make the number one least desired city following a recent survey of tourists traveling abroad. Siting issues with local attitude, sanitation and overall travel value, London ranked number 39 amongst the 40 cities on the survey with only Moscow rated lower.
London may have put on a cheerful face during the Olympics but tourists have still rated the city poorly in terms of friendliness, cleanliness and value for money, a survey showed on Thursday.
Of 40 cities worldwide, London this year ranked second to last for the friendliness of its locals, according to a poll by travel website TripAdvisor.
Only Moscow fared worse, while Mexico's Cancun ranked first.
