The Lyric Opera of Chicago is composed of a world-class cast and crew that consistently put on shows that entertain and amaze. The company’s permanent home is in the beautiful Civic Opera House utilizing the Ardis Krainik Theatre. Their 2012 - 2013 season will run from October, 2012, to April, 2013, and they will be showing Elektra, Simon Boccanegra, Werther, Don Pasquale, Hansel and Gretel, La Boheme, Die Meistersinger von Nurnburg, Rigoletto and A Streetcar Named Desire. Past seasons have brought the company rather high ratings and this upcoming season is looking to be no different.
