WASHINGTON, D.C. February 22, 2013 — D.C. United will display its four MLS Cup trophies at numerous sports bars around the Washington D.C. area as part of its “March to March 9 Trophy Tour”. The tour begins on Saturday, Feb. 23, when the trophies will be displayed at Lucky Bar on Connecticut Ave., in the District, from 10 a.m. - 12 a.m., and ending March 8, before the club’s the home opener against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at RFK Stadium. United is the most decorated team in the nation’s capital with MLS Cup trophies from 1996, 1997, 1999, and 2004, and is tied with the Los Angeles Galaxy for most league championships (4) in Major League Soccer.
