New Orleans' French Quarter

Posted: Jul. 10th, 2012  |  By Michael Pearse

Often simply referred to as “The Quarter,” this portion of New Orleans offers visitors some of the best things to do and see throughout the city, if not the nation entirely. There is so much history strewn throughout the structures in New Orleans’ French Quarter that this portion of New Orleans actually feels alive and breathes an energy unlike anywhere else in the world. From the pristine Jackson Square to the street artists and exceptional food, there really is something for everyone in this unique creole environment.

And, without a doubt, the most famous area of New Orleans’ French Quarter is Bourbon Street. Filled with lively characters, bars, restaurants, entertainment and anything else you would want on a single street, this section is famous around the world for a reason: it truly is a wonderful place to visit and lose yourself in a culture that is both foreign yet familiar.
