The Art of Scent, a showcase for 12 perfumers both historical and contemporary, was set to launch in New York City on the 12th of November but was delayed to the 20th by Hurricane Sandy. Now ready to launch, the show will feature 123 years of perfume with fragrances like Daniela Andrier's Untitled (2010) and Ernest Beaux's Chanel No. 5.

A showcase for the work of 12 great historical and contemporary perfumers, the New York museum exhibit The Art of Scent will explore the role of luxury fragrance as major medium of artistic creation.

Due to open November 12, but delayed until November 20th due to Hurricane Sandy, the exhibition at New York's Museum of Arts and Design focuses on 12 famous perfumes produced between 1889 and 2012.
