 Jim Carchidi The Orlando Magic has grown an interest in the Orlando Police department (OPD) headquarters. The city has agreed to receive a $100,000 incentive which will allow the Magic to tour the facilities only to help facilitate the decision on whether they would like to purchase the building or not.
The city of Orlando approved the Orlando Magic’s $100,000 feasibility study of the 3-acre property that currently houses the Orlando Police Department headquarters,WDBO reports.
The study will access the property and help the Magic determine if they want to buy the 42-year-old building to tear it down and use the land to build a $100 million entertainment center in downtown Orlando.
