Alec Soth Paris has hosted an annual photo month long exhibit, the Paris Photo, for some time and this year the show features over 120 galleries from across the globe but this year planners are going against the grain and doing it without a theme. Aimed at allowing visitors to “discovery every facet of photography” the event is the largest of its kind.
Paris Photo, the annual fair bringing together more than 120 galleries from around the world, has eschewed a theme this year, instead asking director David Lynch to pick his favorite images on display. The 99 photographs he selected are identified in the fair, which runs from today to Sunday at the Grand Palais, and gathered in a book published by Steidl, on sale for 20 euros, or $25 at current exchange.
