The renowned Beatle is going to be coming to Boston in July, much to the pleasure of fans of both the most influential band in history and Paul McCartney's solo music. This concert will be a great opportunity to witness a living legend, and if you can make it you just have to go. No ifs, ands or buts.
Sir Paul announced the date and location of the first confirmed U.S. concert of his 2013 "Out There" tour: July 9, Fenway Park.
McCartney set a two-day concert attendance record at the ballpark with his August 5 & 6, 2009 shows, which were quite awesome: With the expected flame and fireworks for "Live and Let Die" and the unexpected "A Day in the Life/ Give Peace a Chance" mash-up, the nights were a Beatlemaniacs dream.
The Beatle joins Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake (Aug. 10 & 11) and Jason Aldean (July 12 & 13) in the Fenway summer line up. The addition of his show also makes it one of the park's busiest summers for music ever.
