In a heartwarming moment that connected children with the sort of aquatic creatures they only read about in books, the Camden Aquarium set up a unique exhibition of some familiar faces at Philadelphia's Franklin Square. Bringing kids and families a chance to see jellyfish, sea stars, penguins and alligators up close, the event was both entertaining and fun for all.
Folks from the Camden Aquarium set up some of their smaller animals on display for the children at Franklin Square this afternoon.
Brooke Truong, assistant marketing manager at Adventure Aquarium, says they brought some of the smaller critters over the bridge to the kids here in Philadelphia:
“Little alligators and sea stars and jellyfish.” And turtles and penguins.
