The Two Twelve Arts Center Artist of the Month program for January and February will feature the art of Cindy Baxter, in an exhibit called "Quotations," pairing her photographs with her favorite quotations. The artist uses a variety of mediums including watercolor, image transfers, mixed media works and hand-painted black and white photographs. Additionally, an artist's reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 1 at Two Twelve Arts Center, 216 W. Michigan Ave., Saline. For more information, call 944-2787 or visit twotwelvearts.org.

"Pre-School Basketball Clinic" for children ages 3 through 5 is being offered through Saline Community Education. Pupils will learn everything from the names of the lines on the court to proper dribbling, shooting, and defensive skills. Class runs from noon to 12:45 p.m. Sundays through March 10. The fee is $99.
