The World Series of Poker Europe is once more changing venues in 2013, this time to a quiet little suburb just 10 minutes away from Paris proper turning the already attractive tournament into a travel destination too good to pass up. With all the excitement of the tournament by night and the thrill of the Paris sites by day, travelers and poker fans will be elated to hit up the new venue.
For the second time in three years, the World Series of Poker Europe is changing venues. After two years in Cannes, France, the WSOP announced Monday that the 2013 edition of the WSOPE will take place in Enghien-les-Bains, a suburb less than 10 miles from Paris, France. According to the press release, the Casino Barrière Enghien-les-Bains is France's oldest casino.
"Part of our vision for WSOP Europe is to mix poker and pleasure -- and introduce players to some of the most exciting destinations in Europe," said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart.
