 Andrew Snook Hitting the No. 1 spot with his popular hit “Jessie's Girl” back in the 80's, Rick Springfield was back impressing the ladies in Atlanta for another of his knee weakening performances. The Grammy Award winning artist and actor of "Californication" fame met his fans expectations, delivering up an exciting performance that kept fans on their feet and dancing to the beat.
Rick Springfield, 80's Grammy Award winning artist was back in Atlanta last night playing at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center as part of his nationwide tour to promote his latest album "Songs for the End of the World."
Springfield hit the music big time in 1981 with his No. 1 hit "Jessie's Girl" the song that won him that year's Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. He followed with four more top 10 US hits, "I've Done Everything for You," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "Affair of the Heart" and "Love Somebody." His two US top 10 albums are Working Class Dog (1981) and Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet (1982). During his career, which shows no signs of slowing down, he has sold more than 20 million albums and has had 17 Top 40 hits.
