The nightlife in San Diego is lighting up for the post-thanksgiving season. Friday and Saturday are playing host to a massive suite of independent events, and with residents already well-practiced in staying up late in Black Friday lines, the city will pulse with the styling of artists like Ivan Neville, Anna Lunoe, and DJ Severin.
Thank goodness for stretch pants! Feeling festively plump after indulging on Thanksgiving, but there is plenty of booty shaking in store for us this weekend.
Whether it’s one of the many concerts or DJ events happening in San Diego this weekend, there’s sure to be plenty of calories burned on the dance floor. Lots of live-music choices on Friday night, including the Original Wailers at the Griffin, Unwritten Law at House of Blues and the first of a two-night stand with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Friends (Ivan Neville, Chali 2NA, Slightly Stoopid Horns and Crush Effect, featuring Burkey of Vokab Company) at Belly Up.
