 Charming the Bay Area with Chinese music for nearly two decades now, the Melody of China is proudly launching its December 7th “New Voices: Celebrating Contemporary Composers” concert meant to simultaneously reach out to western audiences while bringing with their performance a taste of Chinese culture and contemporary art.
On December 7, 2012 Melody of China will present "New Voices: Celebrating Contemporary Composers". The concert will feature a world premiere and special guests.
Founded in 1993 Melody of China has been bringing the best of Chinese music to the Bay Area and has featured traditional and modern compositions from the beginning.
The "New Voices" concert continues Melody of China's two-fold mission: to promote Chinese classical, folk and contemporary music, and to provide quality entertainment through the synergy between an ancient cultural tradition and youthful, multi-colored American culture.
