Football fans, Superbowl 50 is going to be hosted in San Francisco. The home of the 49ers will be flooded with fans in February 2016, and San Francisco is prepared to accept the honor of hosting the event in the brand new Levi's Stadium. The stadium offers amazing features for a capacity of 75,000 fans, such ad Wifi, HD video boards, and a green roof.
The National Football League (NFL) has chosen the San Francisco Bay Area to host Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7, 2016, it announced this month. The game — the Bay Area’s first Super Bowl since 1985, when Stanford Stadium hosted Super Bowl 19 — will take place at the new $1 billion Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
“Are we ready for some football, San Francisco Bay Area? Make no mistake, we put forward an incredible bid and that’s because the San Francisco Bay Area is quite simply the best place to host Super Bowl 50,” San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee said in a statement.
