Nudity battles continue to rage in the city of San Francisco following the nature 6-5 passing of legislature that bans public nudity in individuals over 5-years old. A lawsuit was filed soon after, but it remains to be seen if the suit will see the light of day as a motion was filed to have the lawsuit dismissed, putting a firm end to the nudist's current strategy.
San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera on Thursday filed a motion in federal court seeking to have a lawsuit against the city’s recently enacted nudity ban dismissed.
Four nudist activists filed the lawsuit last month as the Board of Supervisors was set to consider an ordinance authored by Supervisor Scott Wiener to prohibit public nudity in San Francisco except for children under five years old and in certain permitted events by the city.
