Wednesday's one-off concert in Davies Symphony Hall offered yet another opportunity to savor the incredible artistry of pianist Yuja Wang, who will be accompanying the orchestra during the tour. Her powerhouse account of Prokofiev's Second Piano Concerto provided a dazzling glimpse of what Asian audiences are in for.
