Speakupscottsdale.com Hoping to add more beauty to Scottsdale, officials and artists have begun a public feedback campaign to determine what would best represent the community artistically as well as figure out what the public would like to see displayed in their beloved hometown.
If you missed one of Scottsdale's public meetings last week that gave community members an opportunity to weigh in on future public art projects, you now have until November 9 to toss in your five cents.
Two main projects in the works by Scottsdale Public Art are the Scottsdale Road Historical Happenstance Artworks and the Northsight Boulevard Extension Public Art -- and project coordinators are asking residents to help decide which concept is developed.
As part of the Scottsdale Road Historical Happenstance Artworks project, six works will be installed on Scottsdale Road between Roosevelt Street and Earl Drive to connect the area's history and community.
