 Minnesota Vikings Scottsdale based construction company is among the finalist to get the Minnesota stadium project. Hunt Construction has had previous experience in building stadiums as they built the Arizona Cardinals football stadium. Their chances are increasing as on company has dropped out of the race.
MINNEAPOLIS -- Hunt Construction of Scottsdale is among the finalists to build a stadium for the Minnesota Vikings.
Mortenson Construction, the Minneapolis company that built stadiums for the Minnesota Twins and the University of Minnesota football team, is the other finalist.
Hunt Construction has built a dozen NFL stadiums, including the homes of the Arizona Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts.
Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority chairwoman Michele Kelm-Helgen said a third firm, Swedish-based Skanska AB, is no longer being considered.
