Sounds of New Orleans Hold Third Annual Benefit Concert

July 20th marks the date of The Sounds of New Orleans' third annual benefit concert and the promising event is set to feature performances from a host of renowned performers like Shades of Praise, the Brass-A-Holics and the legendary Paula Sanchez. Set for 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre of Performing Arts, benefits will go to the St. Jude Community Center in New Orleans.

The Sounds of New Orleans will present its third annual benefit concert July 20 at 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre of Performing Arts in New Orleans. Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Community Center in New Orleans.

Tickets, at $35, are available at Our Lady of Guadeloupe Church and Ticket Master outlets. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Performers are The Brass-A-Holics, Paul Sanchez, Naydja CoJoe, Charmaine Neville, Lance Ellis, Chucky C, Shades of Praise, Henry Smith Jr. with Agapepraises & Friends.

The House Band is Clark Knighten 4X 4X Connection. Gayle and Tom Benson are honorary chairs.
