Wednesday, the world's first orthopedic trauma surgery recorded using Google Glass will occur at Scottsdale Healthcare.
The surgery to repair a knee fracture will be streamed live to orthopedic trauma fellows, residents, medical students and other orthopedic surgeons in the United States according to a Scottsdale Healthcare announcement.
Gil Ortega, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Scottsdale Healthcare, was chosen by Google earlier this year for its Glass Explorer program, who's purpose is to test the device before it is released to the public.
