Becky Bartkowski Travelers and residents from Scottsdale may find a souvenir from the recently opened Restoration Hardware's The Gallery a little difficult to port home, but the store offers up a unique experience chock full of unique items and beautifully crafted displays worthy of a visit.
Although a trip to Scottsdale Quarter's newest shopping destination will inspire desires to snuggle up with a glass of wine and a big book, you'll have to thwart that impulse. There's far too much to see at Restoration Hardware luxury home goods concept store The Gallery, which opens Friday, November 9.
With three floors and more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor retail space, the shop is styled as a Tuscan villa, complete with eight-foot wrought iron gates a the entrance, Heritage Olive Trees, and a rooftop garden and conservatory with panoramic views. The collaborative design is the product of architects Howard Backen and Jim Gillam of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects, and Gary Friedman, Restoration Hardware's creator and curator.
