Inside The Aviary in Chicago there is a cellar of sorts that is referred to as “The Office.” This location, while difficult to get admission to, is highly worth asking the staff at The Aviary to be granted access. This lounge is lit dimly and darker liquors and cocktails are prevalent to solidify the atmosphere so delicately crafted in The Office. The seating is exquisite, rich leather and monochromatic and conversation-starting artwork adorns the walls.
Food befitting the late-night ambiance of The Office is available as well with choices like ice cream Sundays, cheese and meat trays, fruits and a Foie Gras that is unbelievably delectable. If you are ever in Chicago for any reason whatsoever, you should at least make your way to The Aviary as their drinks are superb; however, while there, inquire multiple times with your server about The Office and, if you are granted entrance, revel in the experience completely.
